ピュア・サーモン・ジャパン、国内最大級の陸上養殖プロジェクトに森トラストを戦略的投資家として迎える

 

発表日：2025年7月2日 — ピュア・サーモン・ジャパン株式会社（本社：東京都）は、三重県津市における大西洋サーモンの陸上養殖プロジェクトを支援する8F Aquaculture Fund Japan I LPに、日本を代表する不動産・会社の一つである森トラスト株式会社が出資したことをお知らせいたします。

ピュア・サーモン・ジャパンが日本およびアジアにおける養殖の未来を再定義するという使命において、この戦略的パートナーシップは、大きな節目となります。

本プロジェクトでは、国内最大規模となるアトランティックサーモンの陸上養殖施設の建設が進められており、年間1万トンの養殖能力を目指しています。ピュア・サーモン・テクノロジー社（ノルウェー）によって開発された世界最先端の閉鎖循環式陸上養殖技術（RAS）を活用することで、完全に内陸でのサーモンの養殖が可能となり、海洋汚染・ウイルス・寄生虫などの影響を受けず、安全かつ抗生物質に依存しない健康なサーモンを安定的に供給する体制が整えられます。

本施設からの出荷開始は2027年を予定しており、100％を輸入に依存している日本のアトランティックサーモン供給の自給率向上に貢献するとともに、安全・新鮮・高品質で持続可能な水産物を求める日本国内の需要に応えることができます。

Pure Salmon Japan Welcomes Mori Trust as Strategic Investor in Japan’s Largest Land-Based Salmon Farming Project

 

Tokyo, Japan – July 2, 2025 – Pure Salmon Japan K.K. is proud to announce that Mori Trust Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s most prominent real estate firms, has invested in 8F Aquaculture Fund Japan I LP, which supports Pure Salmon Japan’s Atlantic salmon aquaculture project in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture.

This strategic partnership marks a major milestone in Pure Salmon Japan’s mission to redefine the future of aquaculture in Japan and across Asia.

The project entails the construction of Japan’s largest land-based Atlantic salmon facility, targeting an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons. Leveraging advanced Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology developed by Pure Salmon Technology A.S., the facility will operate entirely inland, allowing for healthier, fresher, and antibiotic-free salmon farming in a bio-secure environment—shielded from ocean pollutants, viruses, and parasites.

Scheduled to begin shipments in 2027, the project improves Japan’s self-sufficiency, as the country currently relies 100% on imports for Atlantic salmon. It also addresses Japan’s growing demand for safe, fresh, high-quality, and sustainable seafood.
